Through movement / dance it is possible to come in to a more embodied state of being. From this liminal state of present awareness we can open to a deeper connection with ourselves. The potential exists therein for deep transformative change and healing to occur.
My work is primarily concerned with the natural world, its fleeting and ephemeral quality and the correlation of this with our own transient ‘nature’. As creative mediums I primarily work with photography, film and performance. As tools these provide a broad means to explore and express, giving voice to notions such as transience, time, impermanence and interconnection
I regularly collaborate with other creative practitioners and marginalised groups to produce and create work. We work to raise awareness of key issues that are impacting upon us both as individuals and societies.
